We clocked a mysterious movie last month with almost no information on the internet. While everything about it was under wraps, we knew it had the makings of a mystery thriller that would send people to Twitter. We’re happy to report we were right. The Strays is currently at the #2 spot on Netflix Films (English) Chart, making it the top-charting horror movie on the streamer for a second week.
In the film, an upper-middle-class woman’s perfectly crafted life begins to unravel with the arrival of two shadowy figures in her town.

The Strays is written and directed by Nathaniel Martello-White. It stars Ashley Madekwe, Justin Salinger, Caroline Martin, Michael Warburton, and Bukky Bakray.
The movie has people on Twitter questioning the parental choices made on screen. Viewers also have strong opinions about the main character, and we think you will too. While some fans have questions, we were curious to see what other people thought about this mysterious Netflix horror film.

The Strays is Nathaniel Martello-White’s first feature-length film. We love to see first-time directors have their moments on Netflix. We also love international horror movies, so we are all for a British thriller dominating the charts.
