Dutch Marich’s 2021 found footage film Horror In The High Desert shocked audiences with its terrifying final moments. Now, Marich is expanding on that terror with the sequel, Horror In The High Desert 2: Minerva. No longer is what happened to Gary an isolated incident. There’s something very wrong in Nevada.

In the fall of 2018, a Geology student studying in the High Desert of Northeastern Nevada perished under bizarre circumstances. When Journalist Gal Roberts starts investigating the story, she finds striking similarities to the infamous 2017 disappearance of outdoorsman Gary Hinge. Working with the student’s best friend and fielding tips from locals, Gal starts to uncover a mystery bigger than she could have ever imagined. As she digs deeper, she discovers the death of the geology student was just the tip of the iceberg.
