Steve Wang, legendary creature creator of “Predator,” “Hellboy,” and “Monster Squad,” has seen the film and praised it for its atmosphere of dread and helplessness, and unapologetic use of gore. The movie’s gore was created by industry veteran Michael Del Rossa, who has worked on notable films like “Children of the Corn,” “Humanoids From The Deep,” and “Passion of the Christ.”
