At about 9:31 AM, on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, members of the Boston Police Special Investigations Unit, officers assigned to District E-18 Drug Control Unit (Hyde Park), Braintree Police Drug Control Unit, Quincy Police Drug Control Unit and DEA Task Force arrested Alexis Troncoso-Jimenez, 34, of Hyde Park.

Officers were conducting an ongoing drug investigation and executed a search warrant in the area of 47 Dana Avenue. As a result of the search warrant, officers recovered 63 grams of Fentanyl, 4 grams of Cocaine, and $9,590 in US Currency. Officers also seized a Smith and Wesson M&P with ten rounds in the magazine.

Troncoso-Jimenez was placed under arrest and charged with; Trafficking Class A Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Fugitive from Justice. He is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
