At about 1:30 PM on Friday March 3, 2023, officers assigned to the District B-2 (Roxbury) Drug Control Unit arrested Samuel Romero, 25, of Roxbury as part of an ongoing drug investigation in the area of Fairland Street in Roxbury.

At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on two outstanding warrants for trafficking narcotics. Once in custody, officers recovered $2,380.00 in U.S. Currency and 438 grams of fentanyl from the suspect. Investigators then secured a search warrant for the suspect’s residence, leading to the recovery of an additional 486 grams of fentanyl along with $300.00 in cash along with other evidence connected to the investigation.

The suspect will appear in Roxbury District Court on multiple counts of Trafficking Class A Drugs.
