We’re all just looking for a friend.

Well Go USA Entertainment just shared with us this exclusive clip from their new movie, The Loneliest Boy in the World from director Martin Owen (The Intergalactic Adventures of Max CloudKillers Anonymous). The Loneliest Boy in the World is a coming-of-age fairytale, but with zombies!

“When the sheltered and unsocialized Oliver is tasked with making new friends after the sudden and devastating death of his mother, he decides that digging a few up (literally) might be his best bet. However, when he awakens the morning after his excavating escapades, he discovers that his newly acquired friends have mysteriously come to life overnight, launching them all into a series of misadventures as they try to keep their secret safe from neighbors, classmates, and social workers alike.

This clip (with notably gorgeous nighttime exterior shots) shows a montage of protagonist Oliver digging up a series of dead bodies in an effort to create the family he never had.

With equal parts early Tim Burton heart and Idle Hands humor, The Loneliest Boy in the World is a rare treat and one that should not go unnoticed this Halloween.

The film hits select theaters on October 14, 2022 and on demand and digital on October 18th.
